Here is a very nicely made video that captured the essence of what it was like to be at maker faire 08 this year. I was located by the entrance next to the Electric Cup Cakes, which you could have anytime of day without all the calories. The video also includes, the 20 foot woman of fire called "Crude Awakening", the original Lego Art Car, human powered carnival rides by cyclecide, the human powered bus ride and a big wheel. Lots of fun hope to see you there next year and remember to bring your old dead pens.

Art Car Fest 05 Video

Last weekend was Artcar Fest 2007 and have a bunch of pictures I want to put on my blog but I am too stinking tired to do anything, but I just found a video done about Art Car Fest 05. It was the first year that I had attended this event with hardly any pens on my car. Interviews with artists from all over the US & Canada who gathered for the 2005 ArtCar Fest in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ever wonder what pens being blended looks like? This should you give you a pretty good idea. I wonder If I stuck my whole car in a really big blender what would happen. I hope to never find out. Got to Will it Blend for more blended products.

I made the latest cut of wow cool show with a pretty cool video shot by Jesse. It was really cool meeting him at the Harmony Festival and I am glad we had a chance to work on this project:)

Mercedes Pens in The Media

As a result of going to Maker Fair 07 in San Mateo I receaved some really cool media coverage of the Mercedes Pens Art Car.
The first was a very brief shot on a piece done by CBS Sunday morning news June 3, 2007 called Tech Geeks Shine At Maker. Its a great piece about the fair check it out. (Video Link 90MB)

The other piece was done by Metro Teknik a swiss media outlet. If you can figure out what it says, let me know. Well, I guess I went global this year:)
