Pen Gourd Christmas Ornament

OK, I am pretty much covered the Mercedes pens so I decided to take a break in October. But I just couldn't stay away from gluing pens all over an apple gourd. The town I live in has an annual Christmas tree lighting, with home made ornaments a week before thanksgiving. We decorated the gourd two weeks ago and I showed up with a bag-o-pens and a tube of silicone. This is the first of many non car objects I plan to glue pens to and I am currently working on my mail box and a house door, ugly I know. If any of you have any ideas for other things covered in pens let me know.

Will It Blend? - Pens

Ever wonder what pens being blended looks like? This should you give you a pretty good idea. I wonder If I stuck my whole car in a really big blender what would happen. I hope to never find out. Got to Will it Blend for more blended products.

Mercedes Pens Door Pannel Getting a Face Lift

Here is the driver side door panel witch I decided to paint over because the "Mercedes Grey" wasn't working for my mood. Grey is fine if the rest of the car is grey and your into that sort of drab depressing color. Since my car now is a tad more cheery than that, I decided to paint. This scene has got to be my favority, calm peacefull, full of posibilities. It also represnents growth and hope for the future. The next step is to create a tree created by benting pens with a heat gun and glued right over this scene. I started yesterday and I hope to have this beauty mounted back on the door by the end of the week. Stay tuned.

Mozambique Pens Glued to Mercedes Pens

I finally found a nice spot for the pens donated by the the boys from the Mozambique Orphanage. I had to remove a bunch of old and tired pens. I took the tape off and re-wrote the names directly on the markers. Just in time beacuse Saturday the 28th I will driving in the Sebastopol Apple Blossom Parade with the newly formed "Sonoma County Art Cars". The parade starts at 10:00 am. Again thank you boys for the pens!!!

I am in the process of putting together my first "Pen Guy" show, that will be posted on "you tube" and directly linked to this site. My goal is to produce a by-monthly show about the mercedes pens and all things related, pens, art ars, how to, q&a, and featured pen of the week. let me know if you have any suggestions or send me a cool pen that you think might be a great addition to the car.

Pens from Mozambique Orphanage Arrive!!!

Thank you boys for the great collection of pens!!! Now I have to figure out where to put them all. I think I will have to put them inside the Mercedes Pens so the names don't get faded in the sun this summer. Stay tuned for more updates.
